White Box Enterprises is excited to open Expressions of Interest for Evolve Lighthouse, an initiative that will support disability enterprises to expand their impact through mergers and acquisitions with commercial businesses.
Evolve Lighthouse will partner with six disability enterprises over three years to pursue growth opportunities that create more inclusive employment pathways and increase the number of jobs available to people with disability.
Participating organisations will receive expert strategic advisory (averaging more than 400 days per organisation), access to business brokers and access to a granting pool of up to $1.7 million. Advisory and funding will be allocated according to individual organisational needs and opportunities.
Evolve Lighthouse forms part of White Box's expanded disability enterprise work, supported through Australian Government funding and philanthropy to help disability enterprises modernise their businesses and build more inclusive employment models.
As one of three Evolve program streams, it sits alongside Evolve Capability and Evolve Transformation, creating a suite of initiatives designed to support disability enterprises at different stages of their transformation journey.
Together, participating disability enterprises are expected to help create more than 750 new jobs for people with disability over five years, while demonstrating how commercial growth and inclusive employment can work hand in hand to inspire other organisations, investors and funders.
