ADVOCACY
Working to remove systemic constraints on social enterprise development
We believe in the work that jobs-focused social enterprises are doing on the ground each and every day in their communities. It’s not easy running a business that employs the overlooked and underserved in a sector that sits outside mainstream policy (in most jurisdictions). We want to use our advocacy efforts to make it easier for work-integrated social enterprises (WISE) to scale and grow their impact.
That’s why our team is involved in advocacy, to put the WISE sector on the map so that it receives the policy and financial support that it deserves. The White Box Enterprises team works with other sector development organisations, universities and governments to advocate for appropriate systems and services to support the growth of jobs-focused social enterprises. Our advocacy is driven by our learnings working with social enterprises doing the hard yards.
